Tarace Boulba

More than just a 'big band', the Tarace Boulba is a mere group of engaged artists, whose smooth running is based on a collective energy, which is positive and mutual. They are now more than 300 enrolled in the Taraces. They gather for the pleasure to play together or even just to meet. They take part in the concerts that gather from 25 to 50 musicians. The brass, the drums and the Chapman stick are the components of their sound; I should put it between funk music and French multicultural rock music. It is more or less true as there are members of the brass section of the Négresses Vertes, La Mano Negra, Urban Sax and Les Portugaises Ensablées.
