Fred Frith

It is difficult to summarize the career of such an amazing artist.
He plays any instruments and is able to find the appropriate sound from any object...
He founded the band Henry Cow (1968-78).
He moved to New York in the late seventies and played with: John Zorn, Ikue Mori, Tom Cora… With some of them he founded bands such as Skeleton Crew (with Tom and Zeena).
In the eighties he began to write for dance, film, and theatre.
He played the main role in the film ‘Step Across the Border’.
He is currently Professor of Composition at Mills College in Oakland, California.
